Sydney sees wettest day of summer

Moist low level wind convergence coupled with assistance from an upper level trough to the west brought Sydney's wettest day of this summer on Tuesday leading to some flooding.
105.2 mm of rain fell at the official metro station making it the wettest day since March 2021 whilst Sydney Airport saw 137.2 mm of rain making it the wettest day since February 2020. 170 mm of rain fell at Marrickville also making it the wettest day since February 2020.
