Coldest June morning since 2010

Perth Airport saw the coldest June morning since June 2010 and the coldest morning this early in the cool season since June 2006 as temperatures dipped to 0.5°C at Perth Airport.
Temperatures at Jandakot dipped to 0.1°C while temperatures at the Mt Lawley site dipped to 1.9°C which was the lowest since June 2014 or June 2012.
June 2006 saw Perth Airport's lowest temperature on record since observations began in 1944 when it reached -1.3°C on June 17 2006. Jandakot also saw their lowest temperature on record on June 17 2006 when it reached -3.4°C. The Mt Lawley site also saw the lowest temperature on record on June 17 2006 when it reached -0.7°C.
The low temperatures today were due to excellent radiational cooling of already cold air under clear skies and light winds.
