BOM: More than 85% chance Perth sees hotter than average summer
The BOM's latest seasonal outlook for Australia has some more than 85% chance of above average mean maximum and minimum temperatures for Perth this coming summer of 2020-2021.
This comes with predictions of above average sea surface temperatures (SSTs) off the west coast.It is said that La Niña tends to strengthen the Leeuwin current bringing warm water to the west coast of WA.
I wonder with the enhanced chances of above average rainfall along with above average sea surface temperature (SSTs) off the west coast, will it also be more humid than usual.
