Perth sees wettest november on record
Perth Metro has seen the wettest November on record by a large margin of 18.8 mm or 25.7% despite records being from 1876 where 92 mm of rain fell this November and the previous record was 73.2 mm in 1984!
Perth has seen some 8.6 mm more rain this November than July this year, with the climatological month for rainfall having ended at 9 AM this morning.
Had only 1 mm more rain fallen to 9 AM, it would have also rained more than August this year.
Bickley in the Perth Hills has seen the wettest November on record by a large margin of 40.8 mm with records being from 1969.
Bickley has seen some 37.2 mm more rain this November than July this year and 26.4 mm more rain than August, with the climatological month for rainfall having ended at 9 AM this morning (further rainfall today after 9 AM counts towards the December total).
It rained 11.6 mm more than the wettest of all of October, November, December, January, February, March and April on record!
At the DAFWA station of Floreat Park, some 110.4 mm of rain fell this November, that is some 38.4 mm more than what fell in August.
South Perth saw 104.8 mm of rain, 38 mm more than what fell in August.
King's Park also saw 104.8 mm of rain, 33.4 mm more than what fell in August.
