The Mt Lawley site saw 18 consecutive days of rain beating the record for the Mt Lawley site of 16 consecutive days in July 1996. 18 consecutive days is the second longest July wet spell on record at the official Perth Metro site since records began in 1880 and the longest since also 18 consecutive days in July 1974.
