Northeastern Siberia is hot back after Verkhoyansk saw the coldest July day on record on July 5 2020 when the maximum temperature was only 5.0°C.
The maximum temperature at Yakutsk reached 36.3°C on Monday.
Maximum temperatures in Verkhoyansk reached 32.0°C on Monday and 31.5°C on Sunday.
